Life is hard. It just is. At some point, you may have felt like you've lost sight of who you are and what you want. Whether that's due to mental illness, trauma, low self-worth, relationship challenges, or unexpected life changes, sometimes you just need someone to help guide you, and be present with you, through the struggle. I specialize in working with trauma, shame, life transitions, mood disorders, ADHD, anxiety, faith transitions, and LGBTQ+ issues. I believe that each individual has within them the ability to heal, grow, thrive, and become their true selves.
Just as no two people are alike, there is not a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so I pull from a variety of different theories and modalities to best fit my client's needs. I am trained in sand/play/expressive arts therapies, trauma therapies such as EMDR and Brainspotting, parts work, trauma sensitive yoga, Mindfulness, and traditional talk therapies such as CBT, DBT, and ACT.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is crucial in the healing process, and I strive to connect with each client and help them feel accepted in a non-judgmental and safe environment. You don’t have to continue to feel that there is no hope, and you don’t have to go through this struggle alone.
I am the mother of four teenagers and have been married to my best friend for over twenty years. In my free time, I love to learn, travel, hike, practice yoga, create art, play with my two German Shepherds, and spend time with family and friends.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working in the social service and mental health fields, including the juvenile court system, work with refugees, and adolescents in foster care and residential treatment. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working in the social service and mental health fields, including the juvenile court system, work with refugees, and adolescents in foster care and residential treatment. I come from a multi-cultural family with immigrant roots which has enriched my life with knowledge and experience, but also created challenges and struggles. These experiences have contributed to my choice of being a therapist and my ability to empathize in so many situations. My hope for my clients is to find hope, strength and happiness through their pain and struggles.
Have you ever felt ashamed to speak about your family? Ever felt like others don’t understand what your life is like, even if they say they do? That is something I felt most my life and for that I have a soft spot for working with families of addicts, people in recovery, survivors of domestic violence (or any abuse) and minority populations. I believe shame serves no healthy purpose and keeps people from progressing, which is why I am so avid in countering it.
I use a trauma-informed, person-centered approach and my style is eclectic, utilizing a lot of experiential methods (i.e., art, sand tray, cinema, dance), in addition to traditional talk therapy such as CBT, Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, and Attachment-based approaches. I am also trained in the latest trauma modalities, such as EMDR and TF-CBT. I love to laugh and integrate humor in my work. My approach is tailored to the individual, including their needs, personality, and interests. I believe most people are their own heroes, but need some encouragement, additional knowledge and skills, and a support to walk with them through the dark.
I am the mom of three teenage boys. In addition to working as a therapist and advocate, I have been a group fitness instructor for 10 years. I love volunteer work and in 2010 I founded a volunteer outreach program for adolescent girls called Motiv8. I also teach educational workshops to refugee communities.

I have deep compassion and respect for you, your life, and the struggles you face. Our experiences of anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and trauma (just to name a few) can leave us feeling isolated and hopeless. The good news is that things can actually change, regardless of how stuck they may feel. The people I work with have a desire to heal old patterns that hold them back. They want to experience a greater sense of freedom in their lives.
I believe that you carry the wisdom you need to direct your own life. Therapy can shed light on what has been hidden from view and help you tap into your inner knowing. I honor your individual path and trust your knowing. I also believe that healing is a natural process that occurs under the right circumstances. My hope is to co-create that environment with each client to facilitate healing and growth.
I have over 5 years of experience working with teens and adults, including trauma survivors, members of the LGBTQ+ population, those going through faith transitions, and individuals seeking to find their authentic voice. I primarily use Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Hakomi, a body-based mindfulness modality. While traditional talk therapy can be useful, I'm a strong believer that talk alone often cannot create the experiences needed to change deeply ingrained patterns of thinking and being. By incorporating the body, we gain access to information and nourishment that talking alone cannot provide. Additionally, mindfulness and meditation have been important tools in my own healing journey and I would be happy to share more about them with you.
When I’m not working I enjoy traveling, reading, eating delicious food, hiking, skiing, and relishing in the mystery of life.
One of my personal mottos is “I am still learning” and I use the same perspective with clients as we work to address your needs in therapy together. One of my personal mottos is “I am still learning” and I use the same perspective with clients as we work to address your needs in therapy together. Through the therapeutic process, I hope to empower you with greater understanding and compassion for yourself and for what you are learning from your experiences and choices. I am an advocate for educating the general public about mental health. I believe in the power of an individual to make personal and global change. I love helping individuals gain greater insight into thought, feeling and behavior patterns that you feel are no longer serving your best interests.
Trained in EMDR, I am passionate about trauma-informed and attachment-based approaches in therapy to assist individuals in expanding their emotional intelligence and resilience, and, improving their relationships. I often incorporate Cognitive Behavior Therapy, IFS-informed parts work, Narrative therapy and EFT in sessions with a client-centered approach.
We all need support at times navigating the steep learning curve of life and I love supporting others through that process. I look forward to working with you as you navigate the change you desire!
I’ve always been inspired by the Greek admonition, “Know Thyself.” On the surface it seems simple, but as one philosopher concluded, truly knowing ourselves seems to be the easiest thing of all, yet it is the hardest. I’ve always been inspired by the Greek admonition, “Know Thyself.” On the surface it seems simple, but as one philosopher concluded, truly knowing ourselves seems to be the easiest thing of all, yet it is the hardest. Self-reflection and self-awareness are fundamental to healing and key to leading an intentional, fulfilling life. As a therapist, my role is to help individuals navigate this process and make the adjustments to resolve mental, emotional, and behavioral concerns. I’m passionate about educating and helping my client’s develop strategies and skills to navigate their challenges with confidence.
I have always viewed my relationship with clients as an alliance. I believe each individual is the expert of their own experience and I see them as the most valuable resource I have. In addition to that, I embrace being authentic and honest when working with my clients. If I’m authentic, the individuals I serve will be authentic, and we can move towards self-acceptance. I hope to help all my clients discover and fully embrace every facet of who they are–faults and all.
I have served adolescent and adult populations providing individual, family, and group therapy services. I’m experienced in the assessment and treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders, ADHD, trauma, family conflict, Grief/Loss, and other conditions. I also draw from a broad base of treatment methods to tailor my approach for each client. I’m trained in CBT, DBT, sand/play therapies, Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness. In addition to my clinical practice, I have served as an adjunct instructor at UVU, provided supervision for student interns and MSW graduates, and I’ve recently taken to public speaking to educate on mental health issues.
My greatest inspiration has always been my dad. He overcame considerable hardship in his life and was always helping those who needed it most. I learned from his example and it was instrumental in my decision to become a therapist. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, hiking, playing basketball, and weightlifting. Most of all, I love music and spending time with my family and friends.

I believe in the importance of creating an inclusive and affirming environment, where you can be your true self without fear of judgment. You deserve to be seen, heard, and understood, no matter who you are or whom you love.
In our sessions, I utilize various therapeutic approaches to tailor our work to your unique needs. Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) forms the foundation of my practice, allowing us to build a genuine and collaborative therapeutic relationship. It's essential for me to meet you where you are, respecting your autonomy and honoring your lived experiences.
I also incorporate evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to help you gain insight into your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We'll explore new perspectives, develop coping strategies, and set achievable goals that align with your values and aspirations.
Art and play interventions play a significant role in my practice as well. These creative approaches provide alternative avenues for expression, helping you access emotions and experiences that may be difficult to put into words. Together, we can tap into your innate creativity, allowing it to guide us towards healing and growth.
Therapy is a collaborative process, and your unique voice is an essential part of our work together. You are the expert on your own life, and I am here to support you, offer guidance, and provide a non-judgmental space for exploration and growth.
Outside of work you can find me playing video games, spending time with my animals, or crafting.

Our emotions and experiences are unique and complex, and at times, can make us feel overwhelmed and lonely. Do you ever feel alone in your experience, or feel like a stranger in your own head? You are not alone, and there is a way to lessen the emotional pain you may be feeling, and grow through the process.
I believe therapy is a place to uncover and celebrate your true, authentic self. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, validated, and safe to express and process the hardest parts of life, along with the victories and positives of your unique experience. I believe in identifying and utilizing my client’s strengths to overcome their struggles, feel empowered, and create deeper connection and peace in their life. No one needs to go at it alone. We all have the capacity to make positive change and find peace.
I work with children, teens, and adults and have experience working with grief and loss, anxiety, mood disorders, eating disorders, low self-esteem and body image issues. I have experience working with a variety of approaches such as EMDR, CBT, ACT, DBT, Person-Centered, and Trauma-Informed therapy.

Often we find ourselves waiting out the storm, waiting for life to get easier, but then we realize there is always going to be some challenge to face. I believe we each have within us the ability to overcome challenges by drawing on our inherent strengths and support systems. I meet clients where they are, in whatever struggles they are facing. With a forward thinking mindset and client centered approach. I will work with you to understand your values and goals; to help you learn the tools and skills needed to feel empowered and thrive in your life's journey. I use evidence-based practice and facilitate a judgement free environment to give the client a safe, relaxing place to help unravel life’s struggles. I am experienced in working with individuals struggling with grief & loss, chronic & terminal illness, parent child relationships, substance addiction, ADHD, LGBTQ+ issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, and caregiver burnout. I use a variety of techniques to tailor treatment most beneficial to the client, such as EMDR, mindfulness, CBT, play-based, person-centered, motivational interviewing, positive parenting, and trauma informed. I obtained a Bachelors in Social Work from Utah Valley University and completed a Master of Social Work from Campbellsville University. I have had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults and elderly in a variety of settings where I have gained knowledge, experience and compassion for the unique daily struggles we face. I have been married for 14 years and we love spending time going on adventures with our 4 energetic children. I enjoy crafting, learning new things, exercising, and playing games with my family.

I believe that everyone deserves to feel valued, needs to be heard and to have a sense of belonging. I have worked throughout my career to help families become stronger and to help women feel empowered. Hope is a powerful emotion and can change the focus of our life. Therapy is a great tool to bring more hope into your life. Men, women, individuals, children, couples and families can all find therapy beneficial. For 27 years, I worked extensively in the nursing world as a NICU and Labor & Delivery registered nurse, as well as a hospital administrator. I made the decision to obtain my master’s degree and become a Marriage and Family Therapist as a second career. Focusing now on mental health has given me a new perspective, while incorporating my experience, has supported my work with individuals and families. I am passionate about empowering women and building healthy families. I have worked with adolescents and young adults managing the life choices and transitions of this important time of life. I am passionate about providing space and grace for this age group, as they navigate through questions of choice, identity, and values. Working with children and helping them thrive is important to me. Teaching and building strong communication skills is a passion for me. I am certified in DBT-dialectical behavioral therapy and in TF-CBT-trauma focused CBT. I also use solution focused therapy, narrative, and structural therapy models. I often use experiential activities in introducing new therapy practices. I am certified in Prepare/Enrich for couples and use principles of Gottman and emotionally focused therapy in my work with couples. I have a Bachelor of Science-Nursing from Brigham Young University and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from North Central University. Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my adorable husband and family. My grandbabies are the lights of my life! I have the sweetest dog, Lady, who brings me joy every day. Assisting you in building a toolbox of skills to help you navigate life well and feel resilient and strong would be my privilege. I strongly believe in the value of therapy and would be honored to be a part of your journey. I look forward to working with you!

I believe there is a purpose in everything that we do and in everything that happens to us. “As soon as we are able to find meaning in suffering, then the suffering is over.” A big part of my approach is helping you let go -- to really feel what you need to feel from your past, and then to find the meaning to help you move forward. I have a lot of good experience helping people discover what their purpose is by building self-worth, as well as helping people let go of their pain. I believe that our light doesn’t shine based on how positively we think, but rather on how much of our past darkness we embrace.
There are no shortcuts to healing. I have seen past relationships and painful events affect self-worth, cause addictions, and make it seem impossible to have hope in moving forward.
I rely a lot on intuition to help you know what to let go of and how to find meaning. The answers you are looking for are inside you, and I believe my job is to help you learn how to address those problems in your life in a healthy and balanced way. Ultimately, my job is to help you find you. I believe that who we are is our spirit and what we are is our body. My goal as a therapist is to help you align your physical body with your true emotional/spiritual self -- allowing your true, higher self to make the decisions, and then to act on those decisions to feel the worth and peace that we all seek.

Life is never a linear line to where we want to be. Learning to ride the waves of life and navigating the storms that surround us can be hard. I believe that every person holds their own knowledge, strengths, and healing power within themselves. I believe that when we are true to our authentic selves we are better able to ride the waves of life. Therapy is an opportunity for exploring and using those individual strengths for healing. I hope to be able to co-create a safe place for insight and personal growth. I honor the courage it takes to endeavor in the therapeutic process. I like to use experiential modalities for therapy, including art, play, sand, and music. I also incorporate DBT and CBT into my practices and I am EMDR trained. I work with all ages. I received a bachelor's in family studies from Utah Valley University in 2015 and a Masters of Social Work in 2023. Since that time I have worked with many populations including young children, teens, young adults, and LGBTQIA+ members. I have spent many years working in wilderness and residential therapy programs. I am currently attending Utah Valley University working towards a master's of social work degree. I have lived in and out of Utah and Hawaii for my adult life. The beach is my happy place. I enjoy taking nature walks with my dog. I also love listening to audiobooks.

Sometimes we get lost in life and need to find our way back to our authentic self. I believe you are the expert in your own story, and have the wisdom to find your way forward when feeling lost. However, we don't have to walk alone, we were never meant to. Accompanying others as they learn to walk inside their story, realizing they don’t have to hustle for their worthiness is my privilege. I have experience walking with people in the LGBTQIA+ community, their parents and their loved ones as they experience change. I also have experience helping people navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, loss and bereavement, ASD and ADHD. Recurrent themes that guide my approach to helping include providing a safe place for people to talk about their story, encouraging them to access their unique personal resources for healing while providing additional resources and understanding as we walk together. You are the expert in your life, and I look forward to walking beside you. I received my Bachelor's degree from BYU in 2004 in Health Education and completed a Masters of Social Work at Utah Valley University. I am TF-CBT (trauma focused, cognitive behavioral therapy) and EMDR trained. I find experiential therapies meaningful in addition to aspects of more traditional therapies such as CBT, DBT, and SFBT. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is an integral part of the therapy process and have experience working with many age groups. My college sweetheart and I have been married for 31 years and we enjoy our fabulous five kids, a daughter-in-law we claim as our own, and two exuberant granddaughters. We have lived in the Washington DC area, the Middle East, Provo and Heber, Utah while raising our family. I enjoy being in nature in the spring and summer and experiencing nature from the hot tub on my deck in the winter months. While we have had a variety of animals ranging from snakes to chinchillas to horses in the past, presently we have a 2 year old German Shepherd, an elderly Shorkie and a middle aged grumpy cat. Going to the movies, reading or listening to audiobooks, painting, decorating my new house, and playing with my granddaughters are some of my favorite activities.

Everyone experiences ups and downs in their life, but sometimes these ups and downs get a little less "rolling hills" and a little more "roller coaster." If life feels like it's careening off the rails, you don't have to face it without help. If you were building a house, would you do it alone, or would you get some tips from a professional? I believe that every person can benefit at some point in their life from counseling from a licensed therapist; they teach us the good stuff, and I want to share it with you! I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where anyone can open up about the challenges in their life. Although I may have expertise in many common modalities including CBT, DBT, sand tray therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, you are the one who is an expert in your own life. My goal is to work with you to help you find and achieve your goals so that you can create a better life for yourself, whatever that life looks like. I've worked in community practice across many organizations with many different focuses including children from 12-16, college students, LGBTQ+ children and adults, navigating faith transitions, and more. I believe that all people have room to grow and that therapy can be a huge part of that. I moved to Utah Valley from North Idaho in 2016 and I've loved it ever since! I received my Bachelor's degree from UVU in Psychology in 2019 and received my Masters of Social Work degree at UVU as well. In my free time, I like to get involved with LGBTQ+ community organizations and spend time with my partner of 6 years hiking, playing video games, or just chilling on the couch. I'm an avid podcast listener and end up learning a lot while I zone out on the elliptical! When I have time, I love to try out new recipes. I love spicy foods though I try to down it down for the friends I share my food with. If I ever am having a bad day, you'll find me out in nature soaking in the rays or petting dogs at the puppy store.

I practice from CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, MI, and play therapies. I believe in creating an individualized therapeutic environment with clients through traditional talking, artistic expression, and fun. I especially love teaching coping skills, social skills, and working towards greater mental flexibility. I have experience assessing and treating anxiety and depressive disorders, Autism, ADHD, neurodiversity, and behavioral disorders. I have been working with kids and teens in a therapeutic setting for the past five years and love working with parents to help them improve their relationship with their children.
Outside of work, I love finding beauty and enjoyment through being outside, painting, drawing, puzzling, reading, thrifting, and driving with the music up and windows down. I especially love learning about new songs and artists from others and connecting through movie quotes and laughter.
I have learned that just because we are born human does not mean we know how to be a perfect one—even if sometimes it feels like we should. I have learned that just because we are born human does not mean we know how to be a perfect one—even if sometimes it feels like we should. Luckily we come with an incredible capacity to learn and improve. I know that coming to therapy can be scary, especially for the first time. Change can be scary. But the truth is that we could all use extra help and support sometimes. As a clinician, I work hard to build a safe and comfortable space for people to show up as they are—to give them room to be whoever they need to be. I believe that through this type of environment, people are better able to grow and heal. I have experience working with children and youth, including those experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, suicidality, self-harm, family conflict, trauma, loss, LGBTQ+, and more. I use both art and play therapy, centered around each specific child or youth, combined with aspects of CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, and I am trained in EMDR. I also work with adults facing similar issues as well as faith/life transitions, mood disorders, or who just need someone to talk to. I have lived in Utah for the majority of my life and have an intimate understanding of the community. I have four children who I love and who also drive me a little crazy. I love being outside—especially in my garden. I am very competitive and love sports, even the ones I am not good at. I chose this profession because I have personal experience with and have witnessed the power of change and in doing the hard work.

You are the author of your book of life, and I want to support you in writing your story. Just like an editor provides small corrections and feedback to an author, I strive to provide you with new life lenses by helping you explore your abilities and strengths. Whether you are experiencing depression, anxiety, working through trauma, engaging in a tough life transition, or just not feeling like yourself, I am here to support you. We will work towards helping you live a life where your logic and emotions work in harmony. I believe that every individual is inherently good, and we all strive to better understand ourselves in a lifelong search for “what is my purpose.” I strive to help you strengthen the abilities within yourself to achieve growth and resolution. I believe that in today’s world, we often allow things to happen to us without realizing our potential to take control and learn from our experiences and our emotions. I want to help you take back control. My approach is eclectic, with a basis in person-centered therapy where we can achieve great work with a relationship built on genuineness, nonjudgment, acceptance, and empathy. My eclectic style comes in with my use of techniques during our therapeutic relationship. I do not believe that there is a one size fits all approach as you are an individual, and your needs may vary greatly from someone else. My approach in our therapeutic relationship is guided by our time together and your needs. I believe in tailoring precisely to your individualistic style. I often utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) practices to help you challenge dysfunctional thoughts and beliefs and create ones more aligned with your goals. I may also utilize some Directive Therapy to supportively point out inconsistencies in your emotional and logical functioning and provide guidance and encouragement toward our agreed-upon goals. Your growth is our number one goal, and in approaching the journey together, we can take on anything.
Outside of work, you will find me spending time with my family, horses, dogs, and other animals on our hobby farm. I enjoy camping, reading, playing video games (Zelda rules), and creating.

Choosing to own our story and stop running from it is one of the bravest things we can do in our
healing. It was Brene Brown that mentioned there is nothing more daring than showing up, and I truly believe that showing up is one of the greatest
things we can continue to choose to do, in any given moment of every single day.
My passion is people and my greatest focus in the therapeutic space is to create a climate of
safety, where you can feel safe and seen, to be able to bring whatever you have forth and not
carry the weight alone. Everyone deserves to have a space to navigate through life’s challenges
with support. I use a trauma informed, person-centered approach and believe that the
therapeutic relationship is paramount to the healing process, therefore I prefer to pull from a
variety of modalities that would best suite each client accordingly, such as ACT, CBT, DBT, IFS,
Mindfulness and many other Emotion-Focused and Mind-Body practices. I enjoy working with all
ages from children and adolescents to adults. I have spent the last 12 years working with
adolescents and children, with a passion for teaching them mindfulness, advocacy, and life
skills. I have a passion for helping to empower others around topics like healthy body image,
mindful movement, intuitive eating, and embodiment.
I believe that we are all innately wired for connection and are emotional creatures who
experience life in and through our bodies, therefore, it is an essential part of healing to be able
to notice our experiences from a lens of embodiment and how we have shown up in the world to
how we would truly desire to show up and be present as we heal and process blocks to that
healing. My focus tends to be more on noticing emotions and being able to connect to and
process them. Having an awareness of or even a curiosity for this is a key starting point. If you
feel stuck or have a sense that there is more you wish to express and connect to, just know it is
possible and you are worthy of connection.
Aside from geeking out over therapy books and research in my free time, I do love my time in
nature, hugging trees (no seriously!) and finding heart rocks. If I am not outside, I could possibly
be watching a Korean drama or doing yoga and meditation.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and am pursuing a Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Utah Valley University. I have training in experiential therapy and trauma-informed yoga and am interested in art therapy, sandtray, play therapy, intuitive eating, emotion focused therapy and more. I believe that we are able to heal when we incorporate both the mind and body in an action-oriented, co-created therapeutic way. I love working with children and teens who are experiencing anxiety, depression, perfectionism, faith transitions, eating disorders, body image, and LGBTQ+ issues. I use ACT and pull from IFS, CBT, and DBT. I believe that each individual is unique, and that therapy should be customized to meet the client where they’re at. The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of healing.
I was born and raised in Northern Utah. My husband and I married in May of 2022, and we love spending time together. I also love practicing yoga, getting outside, reading, and making art. You can often find me watching true crime documentaries on Netflix. I love the color yellow, eating fruit snacks, and visiting baby goats. My husband and I hope to someday raise a family on a small farm. In my personal and professional life, I believe that recovery is real, hope is ahead, and healing is possible.

How often do you get curious about the difficulties you face? Have you ever sought support, understanding, or another perspective from someone you feel safe with or trust? The beauty of the therapeutic relationship is that it is a secure space to explore this curiosity about your feelings and whatever you are facing in life. My hope for my clients is that they find supportive collaboration and understanding in the therapeutic relationship that promotes and empowers them to face the difficulties and struggles that are a part of their own life journey.
My experience working in both mental health and educational services focuses on developmental, relational, phenomenological, existential, and postmodern approaches within the therapeutic process. Alongside these approaches, I use a trauma-informed, person-centered approach with clients and pull from a variety of modalities, including SFBT, ACT, CBT, IFS, attachment based therapies, Mindfulness and other practices. I am interested in narrative therapy, experiential therapies, art therapy, play therapy, sand-tray therapy, and more.
I completed an Advanced Research Master’s in Continental Philosophy and Phenomenology (MPhil) from KU Leuven in Leuven, Belgium and am pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University. Further, I have worked as a certified yoga instructor (RYT-200) since 2017 and am pursuing a 500 hour certification for trauma-informed yoga (CYP-500).
I was born and raised in the beautiful Flathead Valley in Northwestern Montana. I enjoy hiking, backpacking, camping, fly fishing, swimming, skiing, and more. I am prone to enjoying obscure books and to singing when I am working with my hands.

Many of the difficult issues we face in our lives involve loss and grief, and these feelings can sometimes overwhelm our ability to function well. Therapy can help. I use a flexible approach to help clients with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic violence, climate grief, coming out, divorce, empty nest, leaving a religious community, issues related to aging, and the loss of a loved one.
I draw from a variety of modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, solution-focused brief therapy, Internal Family Systems, somatic therapy, and motivational interviewing to help clients move through the pain and get on with the important work of building a beautiful life.
I speak from experience when I assure you that there is light on the other side. I’ll walk with you there.

Did you know that humans are Stardust? No truly, we are created from the Stars. Mind, body and spirit. They are all connected. I believe that it is essential to understand this so that we can discover who we are and how we stay true to ourselves. When we are true to ourselves, that is how we build an authentic, meaningful and fulfilling life. With all that we have experienced in our life and how it impacts our mind, body and spirit; we are doing the best we can with the skills and tools we know. Oftentimes, despite this being our best efforts, these thoughts, beliefs and actions do not resolve what we had hoped. Luckily, all of us are capable of learning how to recognize and accept what needs to change, honor our pain, challenge our beliefs, and start gaining insights and self awareness so that we can heal. This healing empowers us to create a life where we are authentic. We deserve this. Together, we will create a space where we can explore, question, process and identify what needs to happen for you to shine your brightest.
I have been in the Social Work field for 15 years and earned my Masters of Social Work at the University of Utah. I believe strongly in the mind, body and spirit connection. I am very invested in trauma focused therapies. I incorporate EMDR, CBT, DBT and client-centered therapy into my practice.
I love the outdoors and being in nature. Hiking and traveling with my husband and dog is one of my most favorite ways to spend my day. If this cannot be done, you will find me curled up with a good book and my cat, crafting away in my kitchen, or listening to music or podcasts. Life is wonderful and hard. Luckily, the good has far outweighed the bad for me.
