For those with insurance who have high deductibles, the amount will vary based on your insurance company and our contract with them.

Standard copays and coinsurance will apply, and will vary by company and individual plan.

Do you take insurance?

We do!

We are also happy to provide help in submitting a claim to your insurance company for Out of Network reimbursement. We accept all major credit cards, HSA and FSA cards, as well as Clergy Pay.

We feel strongly that therapy should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, so we do our best to help each client explore all options for payment.

Do you offer in-person or virtual appointments?

Both!

Most of our therapists are available for in person appointments, but all can also accommodate virtual appointments if desired. We use HIPAA compliant software for all of our Telehealth appointments.

Please note: We do not see children under the age of 12 virtually, as we've found it to be far less effective.

What issues do you treat?

We specialize in treating trauma, anxiety disorders (such as social or general anxiety), mood disorders (such as depression and bipolar disorders), obsessive-compulsive disorder, behavioral and relationship issues, faith and life transitions, ADHD, and LGBTQ+ issues.

What types of therapy do you offer?

We offer traditional talk therapies such as Client-Centered, CBT, ACT, DBT, and Mindfulness-Based therapies, as well as experiential therapies such as Child-Centered Play Therapy, Expressive Art Therapy, and Sand Tray Therapy. We also offer trauma therapies, including EMDR, IFS, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Trauma-Focused CBT.  We have therapists trained in a variety of modalities and your therapist will work with you to create a treatment plan that best suits your needs.

How can I book an appointment?

You can schedule an appointment by either calling or texting us at 801-921-3619, filling out our online form in the "Contact Us" section, or emailing us at info@trueselfcounselingutah.com
